On the Croatian Coat of Arms with queen bee
The Croatian Coat of Arms with queen bee, exhibited on the top of this web-page, was originaly drawn by Oton Iveković (1869-1939) by the end of the 19th century, but with white and red colors reversed. It appears in some editions of Matica hrvatska (Matrix Croatica association), until the beginning of the 20th century (in Hrvatsko kolo, 1906). This very nice drawing, which we revive here after more than a century as a symbol of this web-site, was digitally arranged by Nikola Biškup upon the request of D.Ž. (first around 2010, and then in September 2026).
